The Green Guide for Historic BuildingsHow to improve the environmental performance of listed and historic buildings
The Green Guide for Historic Buildings gives expert opinion on sympathetic adaptations and, crucially, how effective they are likely to be in saving money and reducing carbon emissions. There are practical 'hints and tips' from leading heritage regeneration specialists and a quick reference FAQ section on how to obtain statutory consents. The guide also uses 13 exemplar case studies to show where environmental efficiency has been successfully achieved in the UK.
“The Prince’s Regeneration Trust’s new guide is a must read not only for people associated with listed buildings but also anybody with an interest in the conservation of other historic buildings.”
TV Presenter and historian Dan Snow

How to: Write Conservation ReportsThis guide is for non-specialists. It explains how to write a Conservation Statement and Conservation Management Plan. Understanding and documenting why a historic building is important is key to its successful restoration and re-use. It is particularly valuable where a building is to undergo change of use. If you wish to bring a historic building back into use, then this guide is for you.
