Children's art at Middleport

We are hosting an Easter Egg Hunt with a difference - the Middleport Easter Cow Trail

We are hosting an Easter Egg Hunt with a difference - the Middleport Easter Cow Trail.

On Saturday 30th March, our hub of creativity and craftsmanship, Middleport Pottery, will be open to all! We will be running free arts & crafts activities and a brilliant Cow Trail.

Prizes to be won!

This is a brilliant opportunity to see Middleport Pottery and learn more about the fantastic community and regeneration work going on, run by The Prince's Regeneration Trust.

The Cow Trail will involve numbered Burleigh cow creamers with an Easter egg on their back forming a trail leading families from Middleport's front gate and around the historic site. The route will be supervised by volunteers. Clues will be provided allowing children and families to spot the Easter Egg cow creamers around the site.

At the end of the trail - families will be able to go into Middleport's Activity Room where there might just be a few magic Middleport chocolate eggs for all to enjoy! There will also be lots of ceramic eggs to be decorated -  using cuts from Middleport's famous tissue transfer printing process.

We will be there leading the activities. We are very keen to hear from families about what they think of our project and what activities we could put on to provide local people with plenty of fun and engaging events in the future!

Looking forward to seeing you there!
