The Bentley Priory Battle of Britain Trust is delighted to announce that His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales has agreed to become Patron of their Trust. Bentley Priory was the Headquarters of Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain but also has a rich history dating back to the eighteenth century. The appeal aims to raise £1.8 million to preserve the iconic and historically important Bentley Priory building for future generations and to create a museum and education centre.
His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales writes in the Telegraph why this is so important to
preserve both the fabric and the history of such a symbolic building for the benefit of future generations.
