BBC Explores Campaign to save oldest Print Works

Gwasg Gee is the oldest Print Works in Wales. We are supporting the local community group to restore it and open it up for the benefit of the community.

The Works were founded by Thomas Gee - he was championed with the survival of the Welsh language when it looked certain it was to disappear. Gee was at the forefront for political and religious freedom. The Print Works are hugely important to Welsh heritage and to the history of printing.

We are working with local campaigners to restore the site, the historic contents and open it back up to the community for craftsmanship workshops.

BBC 'Heritage Heroes' explored the project and spoke to our Trustee, Bet Davies about our work.
