Armagh Gaol, one of Northern Ireland's most important historic buildings, is a landmark building within the City and is prominently located within the Armagh Conservation Area, at the southern end of the city's famous Mall, one of the country's finest urban parks. In order to safeguard the building for future generations, it is necessary to identify sustainable and appropriate new uses for the Gaol.
The successful restoration of this unique hertiage while securing a viable and sustainble future that supports the local economy has led project partners to plan for the site's development into a luxury hotel.
The project is supported a by a cross-sector partnership: The Prince's Regeneration Trust, Trevor Osbourne Group and Armagh City and District Council.
