This historic site nestled in the heart of Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, the world renowned centre of ceramics is opening its doors as part of the national scheme, Heritage Open Days.
The Grade II* listed site is a maze of red brick buildings, containing historic machinery, archives and collections in every corner. Guests will be able to look around this unique Victorian pottery, learn about the traditional and incredibly rare craftsmanship that is used to make beautiful Burleigh and take part in art and craft activities. Each piece of Burleigh is touched by 25 pairs of hands; the production process is extensive, careful and the skills used have been passed down through the generations.
