Are you part of an exciting heritage project? Want to meet like-minded groups from Scotland, Northern Ireland and further afield to get inspiration for how to move your project forward? Then the BRICK programme could help!
The Prince’s Regeneration Trust is organising its second BRICK workshop at Riddle’s Court in Edinburgh for community groups in the region that are working to save their heritage for the benefit of their community. Over the course of the day the workshop will cover topics including:
• Ideas to options - Developing creative options for the reuse of historic buildings and sites
• Funding journey - Funding strategies and effective management
• Innovative financing - Social investment.
Speakers include representatives of The Scottish Historic Buildings Trust, Purcell, Social Investment Scotland, Royal Bank of Scotland, as well as the Prince’s Regeneration Trust. The event will also feature interactive sessions with the speakers, as well as a presentation about Riddle’s Court and a tour of the venue, which is itself a regeneration project. The day will be chaired by Rosie Fraser, The Prince’s Regeneration Trust’s Operations Director.
Registration includes a fee of £15.75 + VAT and processing fee.
A small number of travel bursaries of up to £25 per person are available. Please email us if you would like to apply, stating the amount and reasons for applying. Maximum two bursaries per community group will be available.
